HOPE

International Earth Day has been observed on the 22nd of April every year since 1970. The entire week around this date, Earth Week, is highlighted by efforts to raise awareness of the global ecosystem we are a part of as humans. We mark the end of Earth week this year with HOPE.

We are part of a vivid global ecosystem that has been sustaining itself for millennia. But never has this global system witnessed a threat as fatal as climate change. Of all the mass extinctions the planet has had or will, the upcoming has the potential to be the ultimate one. So, as an advanced species. It’s only up to us to arbitrate the fate of our home. The falling glaciers, the traumatic heat waves, and the rising water levels are a testimonial of how vulnerable nature has become.

This year, the day exhibited the first Earth Day of the decade. The UN has envisioned this decade as UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Let HOPE foster the perseverance we need to realize the changing face of the planet. One way to inculcate such qualities is to connect with nature. Once we learn our proximal association with the Earth, the ability to sustain it will transpire naturally. To conclude this year’s Earth week, we present a quick game that will allow one to connect with the natural world. Check it out on the following link: -
