How it all began?

The universe came into being roughly 13.8 billion years ago, and 9.4 billion years after that came into existence, a small ball of dirt revolving around an average star, which now we call Earth.

But this is the only place in at least our observable universe where 'science' is practiced. What makes the Earth so extraordinary?

About 200000 years ago, a new species started to pop into existence. Something was different about these newcomers. Unlike other organisms, they communicated with each other, formed social groups and even worked together for survival which had not existed until that time, these species were homo sapiens or, as we like to call them humans.

There are sayings that the earliest roots of science were found in early 3000-1200 BC. However, that's not true.

Science has been an vital component in human civilization since the beginning. Using even the most straightforward tools and consuming food are all parts of science.

Our earliest ancestors practiced science in its purest form. The following generations kept enhancing it to perform even more complicated tasks. This brings us to the purpose of this series, How It All Began: is to see how the evolution of science unfolded.
